Meet the dynamic Filipino duo at the forefront of dental innovation in Dubai

Two remarkable individuals in the UAE—Ar. Jerson Garingo Tecson Marcial and Dr. Jose Garizaldy Gomez—have transformed their aspirations into a beacon of hope and excellence. Their journey, laden with challenges, innovation, and compassion, revolves around the prestigious Jose Garizaldy Gomez Dental Clinic. As they unfold their stories, the themes of resilience, dedication, and the relentless pursuit of dreams take center stage.

Ar. Jerson Garingo Tecson Marcial: Architect of Dreams

At 43, Ar. Jerson Garingo Tecson Marcial stands as the General Manager, Owner, and the backbone of the Gomez Dental Clinic. His 18 years abroad paint a picture of growth, passion, and leadership.

“Aside from managing the people, I oversee the overall operations management of the facilities, HR, Marketing and PR, government compliance, leadership and development of our staffs, and the financial side of it,” Ar. Jerson shares with The Global Filipino Magazine, reflecting the depth of his involvement and commitment.

His journey began far from the dental world, with roots deeply embedded in architecture.

“Architecture is my passion and my forever love,” Ar. Jerson asserts, his voice a testament to the love affair he has with designing and creating. His transition from an architect in the Philippines to the mastermind behind a thriving dental clinic in Dubai is a tale of evolution, driven by a need for financial stability and a desire to challenge his comfort zone.

Ar. Jerson’s mantra, “Your core values matter and define who you are,” resonates through his work and life philosophy. It’s this core belief that propelled him from his initial hesitant steps in Bahrain in 2005 to the peaks of his career in Dubai.

“It was a totally different game of everything… My appetite for knowledge filled my experience and daunted the best of my abilities because of the complexities and intricacies of my projects,” he recalls.

But Ar. Jerson’s narrative isn’t just about professional success; it’s about the fulfillment of helping others.

“It is fulfilling in the sense that the facilities help people for the solution of their dental problems,” he states, underscoring the clinic’s role in touching lives beyond just business.

Dr. Jose Garizaldy Gomez: The Visionary Healer

At 51, Dr. Jose Garizaldy Gomez, the CEO and investor of Gomez Dental Clinic, brings more than two decades of overseas experience to the table. His journey in dentistry, starting in 1996, led him to Dubai, where he founded his clinic in 2016.

“It is my greatest accomplishment to have my own business,” he proudly states with The Global Filipino Magazine, reflecting on the years of hard work and perseverance.

For Dr. Jose, the joy of his profession lies in the direct impact he has on people’s lives.

“Watching their lives flourishing from being single to treating their kids and their kid’s kids… I have been very grateful to be part of their lives,” he shares. This deep-rooted connection with his patients goes beyond the clinic’s walls, reflecting a philosophy that every smile he crafts is a step towards a stronger, more compassionate community.

The road wasn’t easy for Dr. Jose.

“Our industry struggles, especially at the beginning of the practice… It is sometimes unfair when people will compare you to others,” he admits. Yet, his unwavering faith and commitment to his patients turned challenges into opportunities, allowing him to build a loyal customer base that feels more like family.

Shared Visions and Future Aspirations

Both Ar. Jerson and Dr. Jose understand the intricacies of living and working abroad. They share a common vision of expanding their reach, not just within the Emirates but globally.

“The future is bright for our industry, and for as long as we have loyal growing customers, we are confident that we will grow with them,” Dr. Jose articulates, a sentiment echoed by Ar. Jerson’s ambitious plans for further education and expansion.

Their advice to fellow expatriates is a blend of wisdom and heartfelt sincerity.

“I have a lot to learn, and I do not put a period on it… There is no substitute for education and no age limitations,” Ar. Jerson advises, emphasizing continuous growth and learning.

Meanwhile, Dr. Jose stresses the importance of faith and kindness, “Keep on praying… Having a good heart is also important. Never inflict pain on anyone. I always believe in good Karma.”
