A significant fire broke out in a warehouse in Umm Al Quwain on Friday, with authorities still battling the flames as of 12:30 PM. A video released by the emirate’s official media office shows thick black smoke rising from an industrial zone.
According to a Khaleej Times report, firefighters from the Umm Al Quwain Civil Defence team are seen at the scene, working tirelessly to control the blaze. The warehouse was completely destroyed, with its roof collapsing and nearby trees also catching fire.
The cause of the fire and the materials stored in the warehouse have not yet been disclosed.
