The new branch had its soft opening in December 2024, during which loyal patrons and curious newcomers got a sneak peek of the café’s signature offerings. Known for its luscious cheesecakes that have captured the hearts of dessert lovers across the UAE, Maria Paz Pastry & Café is now bringing its iconic flavors closer to Deira residents.
This latest expansion is part of the bakery’s growing presence in the UAE, with branches already established in other key locations, including Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Founded by Maria Paz Banaag-Marquez, affectionately called ‘Nanay Paz’ by the community, the bakery has become a symbol of success and perseverance, starting from humble beginnings and evolving into a celebrated name in the local food scene.
