President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. welcomed supporters to Malacañang on Friday for the annual Salo-Salo sa Palasyo, turning his 68th birthday into a public celebration days before the actual date on September 13.
People from Metro Manila and even the Ilocos region gathered to personally greet the Chief Executive and the First Family. The President arrived at the venue on a golf cart alongside First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and their son, William Vincent. Ilocos Norte Representative and House Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos also joined the festivities.
The crowd sang “Happy Birthday” as the President made his way through the event, highlighting the warm connection between Marcos and his supporters. Food and refreshment booths were set up to serve guests, creating a festive atmosphere inside the Palace grounds.
