President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. marked the 35th death anniversary of his father, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr., with a heartfelt tribute on Saturday.
In his message, President Marcos highlighted his father’s unwavering faith in the Filipino people, adding that he has committed to building on his father’s legacy.
“I hope that in some way, I have made you proud, Dad. We miss you every day,” the President shared.
The late former president was laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in November 2016.
