President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. criticized former president Rodrigo Duterte for his controversial remark suggesting that 15 senators should be killed to secure the victory of PDP-Laban’s senatorial bets.
Speaking at the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas rally in Davao del Norte on Saturday, Marcos acknowledged the challenges of political competition but took issue with Duterte’s comment.
“Ngunit maintindihan mo rin, dahil kung ako nga ay nasa kabilang partido at itong mga ito ang kaharap natin ay nako baka – sasabihin ko mahirap na kampanya ito dahil mabigat ang kalaban,” Marcos said.
During the same event, Duterte once again accused Marcos of being addicted to illegal drugs, specifically heroin.
“There is one President who is really high on drugs (bangag). Not crazy, but drug addiction is long-term. Marcos will be crazy,” Duterte claimed.
