President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. marked a personal moment on Tuesday as he shared a birthday greeting for his second son, Joseph Simon, through a post on his official social media account. The message appeared alongside a collage of photos showing father and son through different stages of their lives.
Rather than focusing on public affairs, the President used the platform to highlight his family’s celebration, writing, “Happy Birthday, Si! Hope your year is filled with good days, good friends, and just the right kind of blues to keep you smiling. We love you!”
Joseph Simon, whom the President affectionately calls “Si,” turned 30. He is the middle child of Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and completed his bachelor’s degree in business administration and management at Oxford Brookes University.
He is one of three siblings, with House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos as the eldest and William Vincent Marcos as the youngest.
