Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao took to Instagram to share his heartfelt appreciation for the warm reception he received from his Filipino fans during his visit to Dubai. In his post, Pacquiao expressed his joy in returning to the city, especially as he was accompanied by his wife.
“Masaya akong muling makabalik dito sa Dubai lalo na at kasama ko ang aking asawa. Lubos akong natuwa kagabi ng pumunta kami sa Global Village dahil sa mainit na pagsalubong sa amin ng ating mga kababayang Pilipino. Maraming salamat sa inyong pagmamahal at suporta!” Pacquiao wrote.
The Filipino icon delighted fans with a meet-and-greet session at the Global Village last Friday evening, where attendees had the chance to interact with the sports icon, take photos, and even win prizes. His visit was part of Global Village’s initiative to create unique experiences for its multicultural audience.
The celebrations didn’t end there, as Pacquiao hosted another meet-and-greet event last night at Riverland™ Dubai. Fans once again showed up in large numbers to meet the boxing legend, making his Dubai tour a memorable one.
During his stay, Pacquiao also announced exciting plans to establish the Manny Pacquiao Sports Academy, which aims to nurture young talent in boxing and other sports, further cementing his legacy as a global sports ambassador.
