A 43-year-old man was killed on Monday night in Pasig City after reportedly being shot by former actor John Wayne Sace. According to Col. Villamor Tuliao, the Eastern Police District’s officer-in-charge, Sace, 37, allegedly shot the victim around 7:30 p.m. while they were talking along Feliciano Street in Barangay Sagad.
Investigators collected five bullet casings at the scene. After the incident, Sace reportedly fled but was later found in a city motel. He is now detained at the Pasig City police headquarters.
Sace, known for his roles in various ABS-CBN shows such as “Wansapanataym,” “May Bukas Pa,” “Guns and Roses,” and “Forevermore,” received recognition at the 2002 Metro Manila Film Festival for his performance in “Dekada ‘70.” He had previously faced legal troubles and admitted to struggling with drug addiction.
