A man was fatally shot by his neighbor in Barangay Pusiw, Numancia, Aklan, following a dispute over their pets, local police reported.
According to a Barangay RU 92.9 Super Radyo Kalibo report, the altercation began when the victim’s duck allegedly attacked the suspect’s chicken. Both men, who had been drinking, got into a heated argument. The suspect initially walked away but later returned armed with a gun and shot the victim twice in the chest.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Authorities later arrested the suspect in a follow-up operation, and he is set to face legal charges.
