A 55-year-old man was arrested for the murder of his wife following an altercation over the preparation of tea in Uttar Pradesh, India. The man, identified as Dharmveer, reportedly became enraged when his wife took longer than expected to make tea at their home.
The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when Dharmveer requested his wife to prepare tea. As per local media reports, an argument ensued when he questioned the delay. The confrontation escalated, leading Dharmveer to attack his wife with a sword that was kept in the house. The police stated that the wife was struck several times on the head, resulting in her death.
The couple’s son, Soldier, along with his sister, attempted to intervene but were threatened by their father. Soldier then alerted the authorities and filed a complaint against Dharmveer. The police have since charged Dharmveer with murder.
