Maldives and Turkey among top picks for UAE travelers this Eid Al Adha

As Eid Al Adha approaches, travel demand from the UAE is on the rise, with dnata Travel reporting a 15% year-on-year increase in holiday bookings. The surge reflects a growing eagerness among residents to make the most of public holidays for short leisure trips.

“Eid continues to be one of the busiest travel periods in the UAE, and this year is no exception,” said Meerah Ketait, Head of Retail and Leisure at dnata Travel. She added that travelers are now more deliberate in choosing destinations that offer ease and value, with plans for longer holidays deferred to summer.

The top picks for this Eid include short-haul beach destinations like Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius, Turkey, Sri Lanka, and Azerbaijan, all within a four- to six-hour flight radius. Meanwhile, longer trips to Europe and Asia—such as Italy, France, Spain, Thailand, and Japan—are also gaining traction, with durations extending to six days.

To meet the demand, dnata Travel has launched value-packed packages starting from AED 2,730 per person, covering airfare, accommodations, and daily meals. With high interest and limited slots, travelers are urged to book soon. More offers are available through dnata Travel’s website and retail branches across the UAE.
