The Ministry of Interior announced on Friday that authorities in the UAE and Kuwait have collaborated to apprehend three individuals and confiscate a total of 3.75 million Lyrica tablets in two separate operations.
According to reports, UAE officials conducted a joint operation resulting in the arrest of one individual found in possession of 2.75 million tablets. Simultaneously, authorities in Kuwait apprehended two individuals with 1 million tablets at the Kuwait International Airport.
This development follows recent cooperation between the two countries, with the UAE aiding in the arrest of a fugitive wanted in Kuwait last month, alongside the seizure of over 300,000 Kuwaiti dinars.
