Maja Salvador has become a mother for the first time, announcing the birth of her daughter, Maria, with her husband Rambo Nuñez. The actress, currently recovering in the hospital, shared a heartfelt moment on Instagram on June 1, showing herself and Nuñez holding their newborn.
Salvador captioned her post, “Our Maria,” along with the birth date, May 31, 2024. The news was warmly received by fellow celebrities, including Angelica Panganiban, Kim Chiu, Melai Cantiveros, Pauleen Luna, Maine Mendoza, and Nadine Lustre, who were among the first to celebrate the joyous occasion.
The couple, who married twice in 2023—first in a civil ceremony in February and later in Bali, Indonesia, in July—had announced in December that they were expecting their first child. In January, Salvador and Nuñez revealed they were expecting a baby girl.
