Egyptian authorities have arrested a maid accused of abducting a two-year-old Saudi girl and leaving her abandoned on a street in the Dokki area of Giza.
The toddler was discovered near a pedestrian bridge after the child’s mother reported her missing to the Dokki Police Station.
Initial investigations revealed that the maid, who had recently started working for the family, took the child under the guise of running an errand but never returned.
Major General Sameh Al Humaili, Director of Giza Security, confirmed the case, which is now under further investigation.
