The couple initially tied the knot in a civil ceremony on February 21, 2021, at The Farm in San Benito, Batangas. However, they opted for a more traditional celebration, fulfilling their dream of a church wedding in the stunning backdrop of Palawan.
News of their church wedding broke when ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe shared the event on X (formerly Twitter), sparking excitement among fans. Prior to the ceremony, hints were dropped by friends on social media, with fashion stylist Patty Yap sharing glimpses of Jessy’s custom Martin Bautista gown for her pre-wedding dinner on Instagram.
