The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRT-2) will provide free rides for women on March 8, 2025, as part of the Serbisyo para kay Juana initiative in honor of National Women’s Month.
According to the Manila Public Information Office, female passengers can avail of free tickets from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at any LRT-2 station. To claim the free ride, passengers must visit the ticket booth during the designated hours.
This annual initiative aims to recognize and celebrate the contributions of women in society while promoting accessible transportation for them.
