A ring valued at 750,000 euros (nearly AED3 million), previously reported missing at the luxurious Ritz hotel in Paris, was astonishingly recovered from a vacuum cleaner. The loss of the ring was reported last Friday, with the owner initially suspecting the hotel staff of theft.
However, on Sunday, the ring was discovered in a vacuum cleaner bag, following an investigation launched by the police, as reported by the Ritz. The hotel informed AFP that the ring was found due to the meticulous search efforts of the security guards. “Our client is delighted with this news,” a hotel representative expressed.
The ring’s owner, a Malaysian businesswoman, had reported to the police on Friday after discovering her ring, left on a table in her room, missing. She departed Paris for London on Saturday but is expected to return to the French capital to reclaim her valuable possession, according to Le Parisien.
