Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has released the official service timings for public transport and other facilities throughout Ramadan, covering Metro, Tram, buses, marine transport, parking, Customer Happiness Centres, and vehicle testing centres.
The Dubai Metro’s Red and Green lines will operate from 5 AM to midnight from Monday to Thursday and 5 AM to 1 AM the next day on Fridays. Service will run 5 AM to midnight on Saturdays and 8 AM to midnight on Sundays.
The Dubai Tram will be in operation from 6 AM to 1 AM the next day from Monday to Saturday, while on Sundays, it will run from 9 AM to 1 AM the next day.
For buses and marine transport, commuters are advised to check updated schedules via the S’hail App.
Public parking across the city will be free from 6 PM to 8 PM, with paid parking enforced from 8 AM to 6 PM and 8 PM to midnight from Monday to Saturday. Multi-level parking buildings will remain operational 24/7.
Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, and Al Manara will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Thursday and from 9 AM to 12 PM on Fridays. However, the Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and the RTA Head Office will be available round-the-clock.
Vehicle testing and service provider centres will follow varied schedules. Tasjeel Jebel Ali will be open from 7 AM to 4 PM from Monday to Thursday and on Saturdays, while on Fridays, it will operate from 7 AM to 12 PM. Meanwhile, Hatta’s centre will be open from 8 AM to 3 PM on weekdays and Saturdays and from 8 PM to midnight on Fridays.
Other vehicle testing centres, including Al Qusais, Al Barsha, and Al Warsan, will be open from 8 AM to 4 PM and 8 PM to midnight from Monday to Saturday, and from 8 AM to 12 PM and 4 PM to midnight on Fridays. Technical inspections will be available daily between 4:01 PM and 7:59 PM.
