Filipino-American actress Liza Soberano has officially joined the global entertainment company WILD, as revealed by the label on its Instagram page on Tuesday, October 1.
“We’re so happy to welcome the talented Filipino-American actress Liza Soberano to our WILD family,” the company shared, along with a portrait of the actress.
WILD, a global entertainment company that also serves as a marketing agency and music label, specializes in connecting Asian-American artists and talents worldwide, focusing on Southeast Asia, South Korea, and the United States. The company’s talent roster includes figures like Tasha Low, Haven, Jam Republic, Lana, Seungyeon, and Sorn.
While details of Soberano’s signing were not immediately made public, the company provided contact information for “any Singapore-related inquiries” regarding the actress.
WILD emphasized the importance of its talent’s growth beyond their platforms, saying, “WILD’s global roster of talent ranging from artists, actors, hosts, and content creators each have their own stories to tell—as well as the initiative to grow their brand beyond their platforms.” The company also highlighted its commitment to providing strategic support and technical expertise to help its talents produce high-quality work.
This move comes after weeks of speculation regarding Soberano’s departure from her previous management under Careless, a label founded by actor-musician James Reid. Reid confirmed her exit in September, noting that Soberano made the decision herself due to differing “career paths.”
As of this writing, Soberano has yet to comment on her transition to WILD Entertainment.
