First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos personally led the LAB for ALL Caravan alongside the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) National Capital Region, extending health and livelihood services to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families.
The initiative offered free medical consultations, laboratory tests, x-ray services, and medicines, aiming to make healthcare more accessible to Filipinos, including returning migrant workers.
During the event, 20 OFW-beneficiaries received livelihood support through the Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay (BPBH) Program. The assistance packages were handed out by the First Lady herself, joined by OWWA Administrator Patricia Yvonne “PY” Caunan and OWWA NCR Regional Director Ma. Teresa Capa.
OWWA NCR also set up a Helpdesk to provide information on its programs and services. To add warmth to the gathering, a Soup Kitchen and Migrant’s Brew were offered, serving hot meals and coffee to attendees.
