Residents in parts of Dubai experienced light rain on their way to work early Wednesday morning. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported rainfall in key areas, including Al Rashidiya, Dubai International Airport, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, and Al Mamzar.
According to a Khaleej Times report, the NCM forecasted partly cloudy weather across the UAE, with low clouds bringing rain to some northern and eastern regions. Rainfall was also reported in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Police advised motorists to drive cautiously due to wet roads and adhere to speed limits displayed on electronic boards.
The weather department predicted humid conditions by Wednesday night, extending into Thursday morning over inland areas. Light to moderate northwesterly to southwesterly winds are expected, occasionally strengthening with speeds of up to 40 km/h.
Sea conditions will remain rough in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea will be slight to moderate.
Temperatures are forecasted to dip as low as 5°C in mountainous areas and rise to a high of 29°C in internal regions. On Tuesday, the UAE’s highest peak, Jebel Jais, recorded a chilly 4.3°C at 3:15 am—the lowest temperature in the country this season.
Despite cooler temperatures, residents can expect a mix of pleasant daytime weather and increased humidity at night.
