Lara Quigaman graduates with distinction in Canada, calls milestone a fruit of faith and sacrifice

Former beauty queen and actress Lara Quigaman has proudly marked a major academic milestone in Vancouver, Canada, earning a Diploma in Early Childhood Education with distinction.

Quigaman shared a snippet of her convocation ceremony on Instagram, describing it as a deeply meaningful achievement born out of faith, resilience, and the sacrifices her family made in relocating from the Philippines.

“Our family has always prayed that God would lead us to a place where we could be closer to one another and to Him—wherever that may be, no matter how difficult the path,” she wrote in a heartfelt post. “Today is the beautiful result of every sacrifice and challenge we’ve faced and overcome by His grace.”

The former Miss International admitted that uprooting their lives, including leaving behind flourishing careers, was far from easy. Still, the move had long been a shared dream, and she credited divine guidance for bringing them to where they are now.

“God has not only answered that prayer—He has done far more than we could have imagined,” she added. “We’re so thankful to God for carrying us through every step. All this is because of Him.”

Supporters and celebrity friends flooded her with warm messages of congratulations. Actress Iza Calzado commented, “Congratulations!!!! Sending lots of love and good energy to the family!!!! ❤️❤️❤️” while fans echoed praises for her perseverance and faith.
