Kuwait bans celebratory marches for expatriates, warns of deportation for violators

The Kuwaiti government has prohibited all celebratory marches organized by expatriate residents, emphasizing strict consequences for those who violate the rule. The Ministry of Interior announced that participating in unauthorized gatherings could lead to legal action, including the deportation of offenders.

According to a Gulf News report, the ministry highlighted concerns over such events causing traffic disruptions, public disorder, and potential violations of public morals. Authorities warned that these gatherings often inconvenience the community and compromise public safety and security.

Residents have been urged to respect Kuwait’s laws and cooperate with security services to maintain order. The ministry expressed confidence in the public’s support for fostering a safe and stable environment for all.
