Fans of Marcelo Santos III’s bestselling book, ‘Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko,’ have a reason to rejoice. The highly-anticipated series adaptation is now available for streaming exclusively on Viva One.
The series, a production of Viva Studio, is directed by the talented Carlo Catu, marking his first project with Viva.
In a recent digital story conference, the director expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It’s extremely exciting… both thrilling and exhilarating.”
This series is not just notable for its story but also for its remarkable ensemble. Some of today’s best dramatic actors and actresses star in it, including Coleen Garcia, Carlo Aquino, Ryza Cenon, Kiko Estrada, Rhen Escaño, and Jerome Ponce.
Coleen Garcia shared her excitement about working with a new team.
“I haven’t worked with anybody here before. I’m really excited… our chemistry needs to shine on screen,” she remarked.
Carlo Aquino emphasized the importance of a harmonious working environment, saying, “We want to keep it fun, even if what we’re portraying is painful. What’s essential is a light-hearted set.”
The concept of giving up is central to the story, and the cast, along with Marcelo Santos III, shared their thoughts on it.
“At some points in our life, we all feel like giving up due to challenges we think we can’t handle, but at the end of the day, we still hold on,” Ryza Cenon reflected.
Rhen Escaño opened up about her resilient attitude, “I’m the type of person who will fight till the end… so I have no regrets.”
Marcelo Santos III offered a unique perspective, noting, “Not all acts of giving up are negative. Sometimes when we surrender, new doors and opportunities open.”
