Kim Chiu welcomed her 35th birthday with a serene sunrise photoshoot in Dubai, which she shared on social media a week after her visit to the city. “A year older and welcomed the sunrise that whispers hope, and I greeted it with gratitude,” she wrote in her caption.
The photos came shortly after she and Paulo Avelino visited Dubai for the international promotional tour of their romantic comedy My Love Will Make You Disappear. The two stars held special screenings and a meet-and-greet with fans at Reel Cinemas in Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina Mall on April 12 and 13, respectively.
Directed by Chad V. Vidanes, the film tells the story of Sari (played by Chiu), a woman who believes she’s cursed to make every man she loves disappear, and Jolo (Avelino), a man running from his own heartbreak. Their unexpected encounter leads to a journey of love, healing, and self-discovery.
My Love Will Make You Disappear is currently in its third week of screening in UAE cinemas, including VOX Cinemas at City Centre Deira, BurJuman, and Deira City Centre, and Star Cinema at Al Ghurair Centre.
