Dubai-based fans of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are in for a treat as the much-anticipated romantic comedy My Love Will Make You Disappear will have special screenings in the city on April 12 and 13, 2025, at Reel Cinemas Dubai.
The film, directed by Chad Vidanes and produced by Star Cinema and ABS-CBN Studios, follows the story of Sari (Kim Chiu), a woman who believes she is cursed because every man she loves mysteriously vanishes. She meets Jolo (Paulo Avelino), a struggling landlord dealing with financial woes and a crumbling apartment building. As their lives intertwine, they embark on a journey to save a community from displacement—only to find themselves facing Sari’s greatest fear: that love might once again make someone she cares about disappear.
Dubai audiences will get an exclusive experience as the special screenings will feature behind-the-scenes videos, Q&A sessions, and even photo opportunities with the film’s lead stars, Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.
My Love Will Make You Disappear is set for a nationwide release in Philippine cinemas on March 26, 2025, followed by an international rollout, including a North American premiere on March 28, 2025.
