Former Senator Kiko Pangilinan is making a bid to return to the Senate in the 2025 midterm elections. His candidacy was unanimously approved by the Liberal Party’s national executive council during a meeting at Club Filipino in San Juan City.
Pangilinan, who ran for vice president in the 2022 elections alongside former Vice President Leni Robredo, aims to regain a seat in the upper chamber.
Meanwhile, Robredo is set to run for mayor of Naga City, according to an earlier statement by LP executive vice president Erin Tañada.
