Kapuso actor Ken Chan was recently spotted in Thailand attending the Songkran Festival, despite facing a pending syndicated estafa case in the Philippines.
A now-deleted TikTok video showed the actor enjoying the festivities, raising eyebrows among netizens amid his legal troubles back home. Authorities previously attempted to serve a warrant of arrest to Chan in November, but he was not at his residence at the time.
“There is a pending case of Mr. Ken Chan along with seven other co-accused and there is a pending warrant for their arrest,” said Atty. Joseph Noel Estrada in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
As of this writing, there has been no official statement from Ken Chan regarding the case or his appearance in Thailand.
