His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, announced a range of new developments in Kalba.
Among the highlights are the “Kalba Gate” project, a scenic walkway linking the hanging gardens to Al Hefaiyah Lake, and a new museum dedicated to showcasing the region’s rich heritage, including its customs, traditions, and folk songs. Additionally, a park will be established around the flood-damaged Khor Kalba Fort.
Dr. Sheikh Sultan also introduced an environmental, archaeological, and heritage tourism program, leveraging Kalba’s natural and cultural assets.
The ongoing work on the “Kalba Gate” project includes a safely railed pathway, offering visitors stunning views of the hanging gardens, Al Hefaiyah Lake, and the city of Kalba.
