One of the most anticipated Filipino events of the year is coming to Al Ain as Kalayaan 2025 takes center stage on Saturday, June 7, 2025, celebrating Philippine Independence Day with an all-day festival of heritage, talent, and community spirit.
Organized by Event Sphere Party Organizing LLC in collaboration with the United Filipino Community Al Ain (UFCAA) and PTCH Sports & Events – Al Ain City, the event enjoys wide support from Filipino organizations, churches, schools, and community institutions. Admission is free, with festivities kicking off from 8:00 AM onwards at the tentative venue: Al Ain British School.
Activities and Highlights
The event will open with a Parade of Organizations, featuring churches, schools, sports teams, and community groups marching with flags and banners in full display of Filipino pride.
The Kalayaan Market will spotlight Filipino creativity and entrepreneurship, while the stage will feature an engaging lineup of cultural and modern performances.
Competitions include:
- Sing in the Sphere – Videoke Contest
- Colours of the Sphere – Student Painting Contest
- Step into the Sphere – Dance Showdown
- Family Fun Games – For all ages
Athletes can join the Kalayaan Sports Fest, which will include basketball and volleyball tournaments designed to foster camaraderie and competitive spirit among Filipino sports teams in Al Ain.
