The spotlight is on Filipino pride this June as four of today’s hottest young celebrities—Julia Barretto, MJ Cayabyab, Kai Montinola, and Jarren Garcia—are set to headline the grand celebration of Kalayaan 2025 in Dubai.
Happening on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Halls 1 and 2 of the Dubai World Trade Centre, the 127th Philippine Independence Day celebration promises to be “bolder, brighter, and grander,” with a full day of live entertainment, cultural festivities, and community bonding. Admission is free.
Organized by Emirates Loves Philippines and Infinite Communities in partnership with ABS-CBN’s TFC and Viva One Middle East, the event puts the spotlight on talent, unity, and diversity. Over 25,000 guests are expected to attend, making it one of the largest Filipino community gatherings in the UAE this year.
Julia Barretto, known for her breakout roles in film and TV, brings her star power to the main stage, while PBB alumnus MJ Cayabyab adds charm and musical flair. Joining them are Pinoy Big Brother teen sensations Kai Montinola and Jarren Garcia, both of whom have captured the hearts of young audiences with their on-screen chemistry and undeniable charisma.
Guests can also look forward to a wide array of food stalls, cultural exhibits, games, and exciting raffle prizes—all celebrating Filipino heritage and the contributions of OFWs in the UAE.
