Veteran actor and restaurateur Joel Torre is expanding his food business internationally once again. JT’s Manukan Grille is preparing to open its second branch in the Middle East, bringing its signature chicken inasal to Dubai.

The restaurant teased the exciting news on social media, announcing, “Happy to share that we will be grilling soon and opening our 2nd international store in the Middle East! Bringing the flavors of Bacolod to the world one store and place at a time. Kaon ta (let’s eat)!”

As part of the preparations, Torre recently visited Dubai and met with Chef JP Anglo of Kooya Filipino Eatery and Ishwar Chugani of Giordano to finalize plans for the new branch. He shared his enthusiasm on social media, writing, “JT’s Dubai Team, Finalizing Everything. Lezzz Go mga Ilonggo!”

The opening date for the Dubai branch has yet to be announced, but Filipino food lovers and OFWs in the UAE are eagerly awaiting the launch.

JT’s Manukan Grille, which began in 2003 under Torre and his wife Cristy Azcona-Torre, is known for its Ilonggo-style marinated grilled chicken.
