Filipino-American stand-up comedian Jo Koy is set to bring the laughs to the UAE capital as he performs live at the Etihad Arena, Yas Island, on Thursday, May 29, 2025. The highly anticipated show is part of the Abu Dhabi Comedy Week, promising an unforgettable night of laughter and entertainment.
Known globally for his hilarious takes on family, culture, and everyday life, Jo Koy’s “Just Being Koy Tour” continues to sell out arenas across the world. His return to the UAE is expected to draw fans from all over the region, especially from the large Filipino community who have followed his rise to international fame.
Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with the show starting promptly at 8:00 PM. The event is open to guests aged 12 and above. Attendees aged between 12 to 20 years must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 years or older.

In line with Jo Koy’s performance requirements, the event will be a gadget-free experience. All mobile phones, smartwatches, and other smart accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches upon entry. These can only be accessed in designated areas within the venue.
Attendees are also advised to travel light, as bags larger than 30x30x15 cm will not be allowed inside. The arena does not offer any storage or cloakroom facilities.
Etihad Arena is conveniently located on Yas Island and is accessible by car, taxi, and public transportation. The nearest bus station is Al Matar Al Qadeem, which is about 800 meters away from the venue.
