Jessy Mendiola has confirmed that her church wedding with husband Luis Manzano is on the horizon. The couple had previously tied the knot in a civil ceremony in February 2021, officiated by Lipa City Mayor Eric Africa.
During the Health and Beauty Fair at SM Megamall, Mendiola openly shared their plans, saying, “We’re not really hiding it naman. Finally, matutuloy na rin ‘yung church wedding namin.” She expressed her excitement for their dream wedding and the opportunity for her family to be present this time.
“Finally, makakauwi na rin ‘yung family ko, ’cause when we did our civil wedding noong 2021, wala pa ‘yung family ko noon,” Mendiola added.
The couple had patiently awaited the right moment to ensure that her entire family could witness this significant milestone. Mendiola said, “Nakakatuwa, kasi my whole family is coming, and finally, they can meet Rosie,” referring to their daughter.
While the exact date of the church wedding was not disclosed, rumors suggest it might take place on February 15. Both Mendiola and Manzano are eagerly anticipating their daughter Rosie’s role as one of the little bridesmaids.
“Little bride siya, nae-excite ako, super. And naglalakad na siya, sana lang makayanan niyang maglakad sa aisle,” Mendiola remarked.
