Paramount and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) announced today that global music sensation Jessie J will host and perform at this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Abu Dhabi. The highly-anticipated event is set for Saturday, September 16, at the Etihad Arena.
Jessie J, an award-winning British artist known for hits like “Price Tag” and “Flashlight,” expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event. “Hosting the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is such an exciting experience. I can’t wait to perform and see who gets slimed,” said the pop star.
Moroccan urban pop artist Manal will also grace the stage, adding an eclectic mix to the lineup. Manal is renowned for her contemporary take on Arabic music, blending traditional elements with modern pop sensibilities.
The awards show will feature an array of international talent, including the global award-winning group Now United, Palestinian-Chilean artist Elyanna, top Saudi performer Bader Al-Shuaibi, and Jordanian musician Issam Alnajjar. Social media star Ossy Marwah will co-host the event, promising a night packed with family fun, unexpected surprises, and, of course, plenty of slime.
Fans have the opportunity to vote for their favorite nominees across 16 categories on Nickelodeon’s digital site and on Instagram using designated hashtags. The results will be revealed during the ceremony, which will premiere on Nickelodeon Arabia on September 20th at 17:00 KSA/18:00 UAE time. The show will also air on Nickelodeon channels internationally.
