Newly formed loveteam Jerome Ponce and Krissha Viaje are slated to perform at the Kalayaan 2024 event at the Dubai World Trade Centre on June 9. The duo, stars of the horror-drama series “Sem Break” on Viva One, will be part of the day-long celebration marking Philippine Independence Day. The event, known as the “biggest celebration of Philippine Independence Day” in Dubai, will run from 8 am to 8 pm and features hourly shows, bazaars, prizes, and giveaways, with free admission for all attendees.
Jerome and Krissha, affectionately known by fans as KrisshRome, are among several on-screen couples performing, including Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino. The event is organized by Infinite Communities and presented by Emirates Loves Philippines and The Filipino Channel.
Krissha Viaje has been known for her roles in “For the Love,” “Greed,” and “The Rain in España,” where she first collaborated with Jerome Ponce. She is also a singer and performed original soundtracks for their series “Safe Skies, Archer.” Jerome Ponce’s notable works include “Be Careful with My Heart,” “Martyr or Murderer,” and “A Glimpse of Forever.”
