Actress Jennylyn Mercado, alongside her husband Dennis Trillo, has recently established their own production company. Amid these new ventures, Mercado revealed on Thursday that her contract with GMA Network is still being negotiated.
Mercado emphasized her long-standing relationship with GMA Network, where she has built her career over the past two decades. “Pinag-uusapan pa. Pero sa ngayon, basta ganito Tito, kung gusto pa rin nila akong maging Kapuso, happy pa rin ako na maging Kapuso,” she reiterated in an ABS-CBN News report.
She also addressed rumors about potential offers from other networks, firmly stating, “Wala po. Wala pong offer ang ibang network.” When asked if she currently considers herself a freelance artist, she confirmed, “Yes.”
In addition to her production company plans, Mercado is set to star in an upcoming movie with Dennis Trillo and actor Sam Milby, showcasing her continued commitment to her acting career.
