Celebrity couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo have embarked on a new venture by establishing their own production company, Brightburn Entertainment.
The pair took to social media on Wednesday to announce this significant milestone in their lives, sharing photos from a meeting with Netflix Philippines. “After 20 years in the industry, Dennis and I are trying on new hats, this time as producers, as we formally put up our own production company called Brightburn Entertainment,” they posted.
Expressing their enthusiasm, Mercado and Trillo added, “We are very excited for this and just want to share with you these photos… Our first ever official meeting as a team with no less than Netflix Philippines. Thank you so much po sir Vitto, Bene, and Luis for spending some time with us and for discussing opportunities we can explore in the future. Looking forward to working with all of you! The couple, who tied the knot in November 2021 after seven years together, launched Brightburn Entertainment amidst speculation regarding Mercado’s future with her home network, GMA 7. Fans noticed her absence from GMA 7’s recently released station ID, leading to rumors of her departure. Additionally, Mercado recently signed with ABS-CBN’s Star Music for a recording comeback.
