Ivana Alawi is setting the record straight—she hasn’t gone under the knife.
Appearing on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Wednesday, the actress and content creator addressed one of the most persistent rumors about her appearance: that she had plastic surgery on her face.
“Ang kapal n’yo. Walang retoke diyan,” Ivana said bluntly during the show’s “Fast Talk” segment.
Ivana opened up about dealing with personal insecurities, particularly about her nose—something she said people often speculate about.
“I think na-embrace ko kasi lahat ng insecurity ko pero dati, ‘yung ilong ko po. Kaya nga sinasabi n’yo, retoke. Retoke? Insecurity ko nga ‘to,” she said, sharing how it used to bother her.
When asked if going under the knife was something she’d ever consider, Ivana gave a firm response: “Hindi na. Bahala kayo. OK na ako, masaya na ako. Contour-contour na lang ‘yan.”
Ivana recently joined the latest edition of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, a joint project between GMA Network and ABS-CBN to mark the show’s 20th anniversary. She also teased a vlog collaboration with Kapuso housemate Dustin Yu, whom she met inside the famous house.
