The Al Fardan Exchange Kabayan Basketball League 2025 reached its electrifying conclusion on August 30 at Dubai Sports World, with fans, community leaders, and dignitaries witnessing a night of high-energy basketball and celebration of Filipino sportsmanship in the UAE.
The evening tipped off with the battle for third place, leading into the much-awaited championship game. In the end, IPU emerged as the tournament’s grand champion, outlasting rivals and securing the prestigious gold-plated championship trophy.
The Al Barsha Team finished as runners-up, taking home silver medals, while the Al Fardan Exchange Team earned third place and bronze medals.
Awarding of winners
Each player from the top three teams received individual medals from the Dubai Sports Council and the Philippine Consulate in Dubai, recognizing their hard work throughout the tournament. The champion team IPU also lifted the championship trophy presented by Al Fardan Exchange.

The Kabayan Basketball League 2025, organized by the Dubai Sports Council and supported by Al Fardan Exchange along with partners and community sponsors, has become a platform not only for showcasing athletic talent but also for promoting teamwork, discipline, and camaraderie among overseas Filipinos.
