Popular social media influencer Poca, known for his candid and humorous reviews, recently shared his thoughts on the ‘viral Dubai chocolate’ in a video posted on his Facebook page, where he boasts over 233,000 followers.
The chocolate, which has garnered significant attention online, was the subject of Poca’s latest entertaining critique.
In the video, Poca begins by recounting his search for the much-talked-about chocolate.
“So, I’ve been looking for this chocolate. Sabi ko, paano ba ako magkakaroon nyan until my friend posted on his stories. Sabi nya, sino magpapasa-buy,” he shared, revealing the lengths he went to obtain the treat.
The influencer was taken aback by the steep price of the chocolate, which cost him PHP 1,500 or around AED94.30.
“Ito guys, napakamahal, P1,500!” he exclaimed, before noting the pistachio flavor which gave the chocolate its distinctive green hue.
In a humorous twist, Poca quipped, “Hindi ako bumili ng bigas para makabili lang nito,” highlighting the high cost by joking that he had to forgo buying rice to afford the chocolate.
Upon tasting it, Poca’s reaction was less than impressed. “First of all, nothing special…” he said, followed by a long pause and a curse. He expressed his disbelief at the price, “P1,500 to?”
Clarifying his stance, Poca added, “Hindi sa hindi sya masarap, pero nothing special,” and laughed, concluding that the taste was not unique and could be found in a hypermarket. “I could buy this in a hypermarket. Same taste!” he concluded.
