The Indonesian community made a powerful and memorable mark at the grand finale of the Shukran Festival held on December 20, 2025, at Sahara Centre, showcasing unity, culture, and heartfelt support for a celebration rooted in gratitude and community spirit.
Led by H.E. Denny Lesmana, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Dubai, the Indonesian community came out in full force for the Winter Music Festival–themed event. Their participation highlighted the richness and diversity of Indonesian heritage, captivating audiences from different backgrounds.

The program featured a vibrant Balinese cultural dance, demonstrating Indonesia’s deep artistic traditions, alongside an impressive Pencak Silat performance, the country’s traditional martial art known for its discipline, grace, and strength. These were complemented by performances from various Indonesian talents, reflecting the creativity and passion within the community.
The evening’s most talked-about moment, however, was the special band performance by H.E. Denny Lesmana together with his children. Seeing a Consul General take the stage not as a diplomat, but as a musician and father, was both refreshing and deeply moving. The performance drew admiration and applause, leaving the Indonesian community filled with awe, pride, and gratitude. It was a rare and genuine display of leadership through connection and shared joy.

The Shukran Festival finale was indeed a spectacular celebration, presented by Infinite Communities, Manny Johnson Productions, and Sahara Centre, in partnership with the Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia. More than an entertainment event, it stood as a testament to cultural harmony, community collaboration, and the spirit of thanksgiving that Shukran Festival represents.
As the curtains closed on the 2025 Shukran Festival, the Indonesian community’s participation remained one of its most inspiring highlights—an unforgettable reminder that culture, when shared with heart, brings people closer together.
