An Indian expatriate named Shafeek, residing in Saudi Arabia, secured a win of Dh100,000 after making a spur-of-the-moment purchase of a Mahzooz water bottle just before the closing time on Saturday. The news reached him through a call and an email, catching him by complete surprise.
Shafeek, a seafood business owner who has been working in Saudi Arabia for 26 years, faced communication issues due to heavy rainfall in Kerala, making it impossible for him to immediately share the joyous news with his wife and three sons back home.
The recent Mahzooz raffle saw three lucky winners of its guaranteed Dh100,000 prize. Shafeek was not the only winner living outside the UAE. Bayejid, a 34-year-old Bangladeshi also based in Saudi Arabia, learned about Mahzooz Saturday Millions from a news channel. Overwhelmed with joy upon seeing his raffle ID during the live show, he quickly informed one of his brothers. Bayejid’s ambition is to channel the prize money into starting a business in Bangladesh.
Completing the trio is Muhammad from Malaysia. Introduced to Mahzooz just a couple of months ago, the 28-year-old father began actively participating after observing the consistent wins each week. He missed the live show but was ecstatic to discover his win across various social media platforms and his Mahzooz account the following day. Muhammad plans to invest in home renovations and provide a better life and a promising future for his young son.
