An Indian man, accused of the fatal stabbing of a Filipina domestic worker in the Omariya area, has died from self-inflicted injuries in a hospital, as confirmed by the Kuwait Public Prosecution.
The incident began when the prosecution received a report of an Asian man who had allegedly stabbed a domestic worker several times, leading to her death. Investigators arrived at the scene, conducted a thorough examination of the victim’s body, and subsequently transferred the remains to the Forensic Medicine Department.
Subsequent reports clarified that after the brutal attack on the Filipina maid, the accused turned the weapon on himself within the residence of the victim’s sponsor. The injured assailant was rushed to Farwaniya hospital under police escort. However, he did not regain consciousness and was pronounced dead shortly after.
