The Ajman Police in the UAE successfully reunited a lost 9-year-old girl with her family in under an hour. The young girl, described as a person of determination, was found during a routine patrol in the Al Rashidiya area on Friday night.
Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, head of Al Madinah Comprehensive Police Station, detailed the events leading to the quick reunion. Upon discovering the child, the police immediately took her to the City Comprehensive Police Station. There, a social worker from Ajman’s Social Support Centre provided care and communication support.
Remarkably, within just 30 minutes of coordination with the operations room, the police were able to locate the girl’s family and inform them of her whereabouts. The family was promptly summoned to the station for a safe handover.
Colonel Al Kaabi confirmed that the child was in perfect health and well-being. He also emphasized the importance of vigilance in monitoring children, especially those who are persons of determination, to prevent similar incidents in the future.
