An Ilocano community organization in the UAE marked February 22, 2026 with a Ramadan outreach effort in Al Hudaiba, Dubai, extending support to women observing the holy month.
Members of CIASI UAE 61892 Solid Juma – Dubai Chapter, under Samahang Ilokano 61892 and its Sorority UAE arm, carried out an iftar distribution at Masjid Al Hudaiba. A total of 100 food packs were handed to 100 individual women gathered at the mosque ahead of the evening meal that breaks the fast.

The initiative focused on providing ready-to-eat meals to female worshippers in the area, aligning the group’s community engagement with the spirit of Ramadan. Volunteers coordinated the packing and distribution on-site to ensure each recipient received a food pack before sunset.
CIASI UAE 61892 Solid Juma is the UAE chapter of the Confederation of Ilocano Association Inc., a Filipino community organization that brings together Ilocanos across the Emirates through cultural, social, and civic activities. The Dubai Chapter, together with Sorority UAE, has been involved in various outreach programs aimed at supporting Filipinos and other communities in need.

The February 22 activity in Al Hudaiba formed part of the chapter’s continuing grassroots efforts, with 100 individual ladies at Masjid Al Hudaiba receiving meal packs prepared specifically for the Ramadan iftar.
