Sabaku Collaboration Press Release Statement .docx

IchiRyu Ramen House, the home of the best ramen in the UAE, will be bringing its ramen to Sharjah in

partnership with Sabaku!

Ramen Nights” will be on January 31, February 1, 7, and 8 from 6 PM to 1 AM at Sabaku in Aljada.

During this collaboration, patrons will get to enjoy six of IchiRyu’s best-selling ramen: the aka paitan (red ramen), the Chef’s Special or the Kotteri ramen, shiro paitan (white ramen) kuro paitan (black ramen), midori paitan (green ramen) and truffle ramen.

Last year, IchiRyu Ramen House brought its ramen to Abu Dhabi for Animenia 2024 and it was a certified hit. The restaurant was named the Best Ramen Restaurant (Country Level) in the Arabian Best of the Best Awards 2024 last December. IchiRyu was the first to bring the Japanese solo dining experience in the UAE.

“Every bowl we serve symbolizes our enthusiasm and appreciation to Japanese culture and flavor and we couldn’t wait for people in Sharjah to have a taste of our ramen,” said IchiRyu Executive Chef Touru de Guzman.

Sabaku, a Japanese-inspired cafe, was designed around the concept of Wabi-Sabi, an ancient Japanese philosophy that celebrates the beauty in imperfection. The term Wabi-Sabi is derived from the Japanese words “wabi” meaning “less is more” and “sabi” which translates to “love for the old.” Its specialties include Aisu Kohi, Dorippu Kohi, Esupuresso, Kafe Ore and Yugao.

“We are thrilled to bring this unique collaboration to life at Sabaku, with the support of the Owner, where we blend Japan’s rich cultural heritage with the UAE’s deeply rooted traditions,” said Geeno Garcia, Operations Manager at Sabaku. “This partnership with IchiRyu perfectly represents what Sabaku stands for—honoring tradition while embracing innovation. We’re excited to share one of the UAE’s finest ramen experiences in this vibrant setting.”
