Dubai Police are making headlines again with their latest addition to their luxury patrol fleet, the Tesla Cybertruck. Residents and tourists are invited to come and take selfies with this cutting-edge vehicle. The Cybertruck will be displayed in front of the Dubai Ice Rink at Dubai Mall, marking a special event during the last four days of the Eid Al Adha holiday, from Tuesday, June 18, to Friday, June 21, between 10 am and 10 pm.
The Tesla Cybertruck, revealed in a post on social media by Dubai Police, features the traditional green and white livery and boasts a unique plate number 5. The unveiling caught the attention of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and even Elon Musk, co-founder and CEO of Tesla, who responded to the post with a “Cool” comment.
Brig Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf, director of the Tourist Police Department, explained the strategic incorporation of supercars into the fleet, highlighting their role in enhancing the visibility of police officers and aiding tourists and visitors at key locations like Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, and JBR.
Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, assistant commander-in-chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, added that these high-performance vehicles are essential for maintaining a strong security presence at major tourist spots.
The Dubai Police supercar fleet includes an impressive lineup of some of the world’s most extravagant and high-speed vehicles such as the Lamborghini Aventador, Audi R8 Coupé V10, Bentley Continental GT, McLaren MP4-12C, Aston Martin One-77, Mercedes-AMG GT63 S, Maserati GranTurismo, Bugatti Veyron, and the Toyota 2021 GR Supra.
Whether you’re a resident or a tourist, don’t miss your chance to capture a moment with the futuristic Tesla Cybertruck this June at Dubai Mall.
