A distressing incident occurred in Hong Kong when a Filipina migrant worker was filmed being assaulted by her employer during a Facebook live session.
The worker, identified as April Jane Dadula, was showcasing her belongings on camera when her female employer abruptly attacked and attempted to strangle her.
The incident took place at the airport where Dadula was waiting after resigning from her job.
She had left her work due to concerns about being falsely accused of theft.
As she tried to escape the sudden assault and cried out for help, her employer chased her.
Following the attack, the employer was arrested but later released after posting bail.
Meanwhile, Dadula is safe and residing in a shelter as she awaits her return flight to the Philippines.
